Dr. Kamal Goyal was educated at Sardar Patel Medical College, Bikaner, Rajasthan where he trained as a general surgeon before he switched to neurosurgery. He went to the UK for his further development and had the privilege to train in 2 internationally acclaimed neurosurgical departments i.e. Institute of Neurology Sciences, Glasgow & Wessex Neurology Care, Southampton. He targeted his training to equip himself with the appropriate skills and experience necessary to work as a broad based general neurosurgeon with potential to develop special interest in particular neurosurgical subspecialties. He gained extensive experience in his chosen field before taking up a consultant Neurosurgery post in Southampton UK. He made a conscientious decision to return to his native land with the noble intention of dedicating his expertise to the betterment of the masses. His areas of special interest include complex spine surgery, neurovascular surgery, and neuro-oncology.
